Lisa and Matt first met on a friends; ski trip in Mammoth, California – and as fate would have it, they ended up getting snowed in together.
We chose the Madison Beach Hotel because it holds such a special place in our hearts. Matt grew up in Madison, and over the years, we’ve spent countless days there—walking along the beach, sharing drinks at the bar, and making memories with his family. It has been the backdrop to so many of our favorite moments, and even holds special meaning for his family, as his sister got engaged there. With so many memories and milestones tied to this beautiful place, it felt like the perfect setting to begin this next chapter of our lives together.
The entire experience was truly wonderful. The team went above and beyond to make our wedding everything we dreamed it would be. From helping us bring our vision for the décor to life to accommodating all of our requests and changes to the menu, they made us feel heard, supported, and cared for every step of the way.
The valet team was absolutely incredible as well. They were so helpful from the moment we arrived, even assisting us with bringing in all of our decorations. Their kindness and willingness to help made such a difference and added to an already amazing experience.
We chose to celebrate our love with a vow renewal surrounded by the people who mean the most to us. We had already been married at a courthouse in Austria, but we always dreamed of having a special celebration with all of our family and friends. Our vow renewal was the perfect opportunity to gather everyone together, celebrate the love we share, and create beautiful memories with the people who have been part of our journey.
