Nicholas Naber & Kia Celestin

Nick and I met in our home state of Arizona. We met on leap day of 2016 at a small restaurant in the Sonoran Desert. Our first conversation was about how we’d survive a zombie apocalypses. We have never left each other since.

When looking for a place to host our wedding we were overwhelmed by the options available. There were many beautiful locations that fulfilled certain aspects of what we desired but none of those locations prioritized our specific needs. To us, what was important was an intimate setting, delicious food, and a spectacular view for our nuptials. In this regard only Madison Beach Hotel met our expectations.

We were nervous going into the wedding planning phase. With no experience of any kind planning this type of event we felt very lost on how to plan it. When we expressed our worries to the staff they were more then helpful. They began by giving us an outline of how a typical wedding progression was done. They recommended the cake vendor that delivered our custom gender reveal cake right on time before our wedding. They shared their expertise in table settings, chair setups, and photography locations. They even customized their Wharf menu to accommodate the dietary needs of our guests. On the day of the wedding their direction was invaluable and there was never a time when staff was out of reach to help with anything we could possibly need. I never had a moment of worry on my wedding day that things were not arranged or organized to my liking. Of course the natural beauty of both the private beach and the hotel ensured that no matter what I’d still have stunning photos to take home. it was an easy and relaxing process that caused so little stress I forgot to panic about the minor detail while rushing to get ready for the day.

Our wedding theme was a romantic intimate elopement. The focus was on our love for each other and our growing family. At our wedding along side our parents and siblings we announced the gender of our rainbow baby. Our dusty blue and blush pink accents reminded the guests of the big upcoming reveal. When we cut the wedding cake to see a blue interior we announced our baby boy to his new family.

Thank you, Madison Beach Hotel, so much for sharing in our special day. Your whole team made the experience a once in a lifetime event for us.
